This radio uses a very compact printed circuit in 'micro-technique' using very
small components.
The output transformerless
output stage, employing an NPN germanium transistor, was a novelty for that
time. The loudspeaker, of modest dimension, has a large ceramic magnet and
aluminium frame for high sensitivity yet low mass.
