This tombstone style radio of
1937 was one of the largest and most complex pre-WW2 Philips types.
It incorporates a push-pull audio amplifier, two stage IF amplifier, separate oscillator and mixer tubes, and a tuning indicator tube. It was offered along with smaller types, 339A and the substantially less complex 338A.
