This tombstone style radio of 1937 was one of the largest and most complex pre-WW2 Philips types. 

It incorporates a two stage IF amplifier, separate oscillator and mixer tubes, and a tuning indicator meter  It was offered along with larger derivative, 343A and the substantially less complex 338A.
